Book Review: Cozy Classics: Pride and Prejudice

I really love these Cozy Classic books.  They are geared towards kids, but recreate classic literature.  Today’s book was Pride and Prejudice.  The book is short – only 12 pages.  It has 12 needle felt characters and 12 keywords to tell the story.  The work on these needle-felt characters is just amazing.  I wish that I was able to make these things! They are wonderful.

I’ve never read Pride and Prejudice and I really didn’t know much about the story – but I think that I have the general idea of the story now that I’ve checked out the Cozy Classics version.

“Perhaps you’ve heard of ‘fuzzy math’—now there’s fuzzy literature, as well. Literally. A new series of picture books illustrates works like Moby Dick with adorable felted figures. Does introducing classics in this way, to children at such a young age, influence their feelings about literature? I don’t know, but these books sure are pretty. ~ Fiction Review Writers

I received a free e-copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in order to write this review. I was not otherwise compensated.
