Book Review: Cake
Cake is one of Cosmo’s recent “Red-Hot Reads”. it is about Wren, an artist working as a bike messenger. Her cousin works as the assistant for a hot artist and Wren does the deliveries for him from her cousin. She ends up falling for him and thinks he may be interested too – but he has some baggage in the form of an ex-wife.
The two end up kissing and things heat up from there – but Gregori doesn’t want to make a commitment and tries to push Wren away. He ends up running off to NYC for an art show and Wren’s cousin arranges a flight out there for her too so she can give him an ultimatum. She doesn’t want to be friends with him. Is he willing to put aside his fears and be with someone?
