What’s Great About Illinois is a book geared towards Children to teach them about the state. (I’ve previously reviewed the book about New York) The book is broken down to various points of interest – such as museums, state parks, ball parks, etc. The book closes with a map, facts and a glossary.
I’ve never been to Chicago aside from being in the airport for a layover (several times) so it was nice to see a bit about what I was missing and what else the great state of Illinois has to offer. There is the TRex Sue, some baseball, Route 66, Lincoln, a giant superman and much more!
If you’ve ever wanted to know more about Illinois or what to check out on your visit, check out this book! (I now need to get to Metropolis IL!)
I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review.
