It’s The Girls is the 14th studio album from Bette Midler and her 25th album overall (wow!).  It came out in November of last year and is an album of covers of great girl groups from the past.  This album is really catchy and while I probably couldn’t name any of the original artists (with the exception of TLC), I knew pretty much all of these songs and was able to sing along on the first listen.  If you’re looking for a great re-vamp of some classic girl groups – check out this CD.

CD Review: Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 4

popgoeslullaby4

Who’s got the coolest kid in the nursery? YOU do! Because you play your baby “Pop Goes Lullaby 4” to rock them to sleep every night. Jammy Jams’ latest release features lullaby renditions of pop songs currently in the charts. Hits by Meghan Trainor, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith and more transformed into beautiful instrumental lullabies.

Cool Kids (Lullaby Rendition of Echosmith)
Shake It Off (Lullaby Rendition of Taylor Swift)
Don’t (Lullaby Rendition of Ed Sheeran)
All About That Bass (Lullaby Rendition of Megan Trainor)
I’m Not The Only One (Lullaby Rendition of Sam Smith)
This Is How We Do (Lullaby Rendition of Katy Perry)
Me Against The World (Lullaby Rendition of Erica Ashley)
Blame (Lullaby Rendition of Calvin Harris)
Fireball (Lullaby Rendition of Pitbull)
Rude (Lullaby Rendition of Magic!)

Jammy Jams is back with another great Pop Goes Lullaby CD – this time version 4.  I love these even though I don’t have any kids. Its just so cool to hear the lullaby versions of some of my favorite pop songs!  This album is available for purchase on CD, CD w/ Digital Copy, Album Download Card or Digital Download and can be purchased in the Jammy Jams Store, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and many other retailers.

There are only a couple of songs on this mix that I’m not familiar with but I still enjoyed the album all the same.  Great for the pop fan with a new little one who needs some fun music to listen to at nap or bed time!

Product Review: Watermark Plus 1.5

A few months ago I reviewed Watermark Plus, which is a Mac app that can watermark your photos incredibly quickly. I recently reviewed the updated version 1.5 of the program which has added a few updates.

The updates to the software include:

  • New watermark profiles.
  • Save custom watermarks.
  • New Script watermark – Fill your photos with text tags.
  • Inserting info stamp for text watermark.
  • Features of Single mode and Group/Ungroup ensure a proper position for all photos.

The new watermark profiles are pretty nice, although I typically use my custom watermarks for this site as well as my Hanson site, so I was excited that I’d actually be able to save them for future use with this software update.

The other upgrade that I was super happy with is that you can change the mode to Batch or Single – that means if you have some photos that are taken horizontally and others vertically, you can move the water mark to where you want it on the photo (in my case, the lower right hand corner) and not have it put it in the same spot for all the photos – which made things funky when there was a mixture of photos taken in either direction.

I did need to follow the tutorial to save off my custom watermarks as I couldn’t figure out how to do it on my own.  The tutorials for the program can be found at: http://www.pearlmountainsoft.com/watermarkplus/tutorials.html

I still recommend this product and love that they listened to the users to make it even better in version 1.5! Find out more at http://www.pearlmountainsoft.com/watermarkplus/

Look for the Cancun photos posted over the next few weeks to contain watermarks done using this new program!
