Pimp My Cube Contest is searching for the worst, most pathetic and messy cubicles or offices! That includes offices that may have bad furniture, old technology… ones that are messy, unorganized, noisy, dirty, dark… or anything else that makes it not the best place to be working. (My office just got new furniture but my computer is O-L-D and it is just so blah…)
To enter the Pimp My Cube contest you need to upload a video showing off your workspace and explain why it is horrible and why it is so important that Contest Factory come in and “pimp” it.
Once the video is entered, invite your friends, family and coworkers to vote for you. (And hope your coworkers don’t end up jealous that you might have a hot new cube)
You’ll get a sweepstakes entry points for registering, voting, commenting and inviting others to register.
The grand prize of your cube being ‘pimped’ will be selected by Contest Factory judges based on various criteria including for the most votes, best (really worst) vide and most compelling story. The contest has a total grand prize of approximately $1200.
Prize is to update your workspace with one of three prize packages:
-New high end computer system
-New desk, chair and decorations
-New entertainment package with high end streoe, espresso machine, etc.
Right now no one has uploaded a video so your chance of winning is good. It is easy to upload a video from your phone or webcam. Video should be funny and witty! The better the story, the funnier the video, the better chance you have of winning!
A second prize of a $200 gift card will be awarded to the registered user chosen by random drawing at the end of the contest period.
The contest period is from 12/5/11 at 12:00PM to 1/31/12 at 12:00PM.
I am thinking about what to do for MY video – and I hope you will all enter too (even if it does mean more competition for me!)
