Product Review: Shandali Travel Towel

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
The Shandali Travel Towel is a new product and exclusively available at Amazon.  The towel is super light and incredibly absorbent.  The Shandali towel is made of new and advanced microfiber lightweight material.  It absorbs wetness and drys 10x as fast as a cotton towel.  It is multi-purpose and you can use it anywhere you’d use a towel – at the beach, at the gym during a workout, while you’re camping or after a shower! It is soft on your skin, durable and extra compact. Pack it and forget about it – it hardly takes up any room! It is available in Pebble and Stone, River Blue and Light Blue.

I took this towel to Jamaica with me – but unfortunately forgot to get photos of it at work! (I guess that is a lesson for taking “work” on vacation with me!)  So these photos are unfortunately not from the beautiful beaches of Jamaica and instead my bathroom – but the review is just the same 🙂

The towel is super light – I was able to stick it in a pocket in my suitcase and it took up no space and didn’t weigh things down any extra.  I also dipped the towel in a cup of water just to see what would happen.  It absorbed the water and by the time I hung the towel up and grabbed my camera – it had already started (visibly) drying itself.

I also used the towel on my hair – I have SUPER thick hair.  I don’t like to use a hair dryer when I get out of the shower because then my hair frizzes up, so I usually dry it as best I can with a towel and then let it air dry.  Rather than my cotton bath towel, I gave the Shandali Travel Towel a go.  It dried my hair much quicker and moreso than the cotton bath towels had.  I am thinking that this is going to have to be my new hair towel!  Plus, even after it was quite wet from my mass of hair – it still dried much faster than the cotton towel I had used as well.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Book Review: Little Monkey Calms Down

littlemonkeyLittle Monkey calms down is about a monkey who has a bit of a fit after he drops his ice cream.  The book tells Little Monkey how to deal with his anger and calm down.  It’s okay to cry, but try hugging your blankie, sing a quiet song, relax and take a breath.  Everything ok? Now we can have a fun day.

A cute little book about dealing with your anger/melt downs.

I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review. I was not otherwise compensated.
