It’s no secret that I’ve been saying I’m writing a book for YEARS now, I’ve stopped and started, thrown everything away and started all over again more times than I care to mention. But this November – instead of fiction for NaNoWriMo I am writing my book and hopefully will have it done and ready to go sometime in 2015. (And if I don’t, feel free to leave me many comments pestering me about it!) Since I will most likely be e-publishing (and really, it’ll be more of a pamphlet than a book…) I decided to check out the 6 Steps Plan to E-Publishing so I knew what I’d be getting myself into.
I liked that the author not only mentioned how she did things, but other options as well just to give you a variety of information so you could pick what would be best suited for how you are comfortable doing things. I also liked how she mentioned the KDP guidelines – something I knew nothing about – and special things to keep in mind when putting the book together.
The book also mentions Amazon and the pricing structures which is another thing that I’ve never thought about (which is making me realize I have a LOT still to think about besides content!)
I feel more prepared now to actually do this after reading this book and if you have ever wanted to write and release your own book you should check out this book to find out all that you’ll need to know!
