Product Review: Presto Photo Scrapbook Pages

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

On my bucket list is to create my own line of scrapbook paper.  I have ideas in my head for Hanson and The Wanted, etc pages but have not yet had the time to create them and I also didn’t know how to go about getting the pages printed once I did design them because I use 12×12 paper and have yet to find a place that can print them.

Then I discovered Presto Photo.  You can create your own digital scrapbook pages and get them printed in a book or just have them printed as loose pages if you want to put them in a book.  Or, you can do what I did and buy a digital scrapbook kit on Etsy and get the pages printed out to use in your scrapbook.  (And in the future, to get my custom made scrapbook pages printed.)

They have 6 different paper types to choose from –

Heavy Pearl Paper
300 GSM This is a glamorous option! There is luminosity to the paper that brings out all of the rich colors and shadows of the imagery. If you want a vibrant shimmer and shine on heavy paper, this is the one to choose.

Heavy Lustre
260 GSM For the truest color reproduction, choose this paper. It is brilliantly shiny and all the little details will be there. This is our favorite paper.

Heavy Semi-Gloss
300 GSM Slightly heavier than our Lustre option, it is sleek and has a more subtle shine.

Heavy Matte
300 GSM For the artist and architect – bring your designs to life. This paper has no shine and really shows of detail.

Premium
146 GSM A classic choice, this paper is lightweight with a slight gloss.

Silk
118 GSM This paper is the thinnest we offer, similar to the pages of a magazine. This is our most affordable option and your images will have a softer quality to them. This is the perfect paper if you have a budget and still want outstanding printed pages!

And all are available at a reasonable cost per page.  Simply upload your images to your album and check out with loose pages (if you’re not getting a whole book) and ta-da! Great quality papers will be delivered to your door.  I am very pleased with the quality and can’t wait to get to work and use them in some of my upcoming layouts!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

“Scraplifting” is the term used when you take someone else’s scrapbook idea and “steal” it.  You may scraplift just an element, you may just get an idea from someone else’s page, or maybe you’ll just copy it completely. I have a section on my pinterest dedicated to scrapbook layouts in hopes they will give me inspiration.  This post will focus on 1 layout I “scraplifted”
