Product Review: SlimFast

I was sent a coupon for slimfast through Influenster in order to try it out. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but I don’t typically have breakfast and figured it wouldn’t hurt to try and have breakfast of one of the slimfast shakes for a week.  I had never tried it before and initially I thought it smelled kind of bad – but it was chocolate so how bad could it be?  It actually was very good.  The first day I was still hungry (or more hungry than I would have been without it) immediately after finishing it – but as I continued to drink them and the week went on I was able to push back when I ate my lunch and wasn’t going home starving every night.  I also wasn’t feeling guilty for eating something like cookies for breakfast because the slimfast is low in calories and high in protein. I would certainly recommend this problem and I will not hesitate to drink them again!

Book Review: Lion vs Rabbit

lionrabbitLion is a big bully to all the other animals and the animals are fed up! They post an ad looking for help and no one can defeat the lion.  Until Rabbit arrives.  They compete in a series of events, all of which rabbit wins and Lion has an excuse as to why he lost.  When rabbit finally wins the last event that the lion got to choose, Lion agrees to stop being a bully.  There’s a little bit of a funny ending to the story which I won’t give away, but if you read it I think you’ll enjoy it!

A great children’s book about not being a bully!

I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review I was not otherwise compensated.

About the Book

Lion bullies all the other animals until finally they can’t take it anymore. They post an ad, asking for help. One animal after another tries and fails to defeat Lion. Can no one stop him? Finally, a rabbit arrives. No one thinks that such a small animal will be brave enough or strong enough to defeat Lion. But perhaps this rabbit is smart enough?
