Recap: My Mom went to the show with me because none of my friends were able to. She ended up loving Brett Dennen who was the first opener because he didn’t wear shoes on stage. Ben Folds also opened and the only photo I took of him was the crazy one below where he looks like he might actually be part butterfly. This was a funny show, with John joking with one of his guitarists about how sometimes he throws picks at people and they don’t know where they landed, but they ended up sticking to their foreheads because they are sweaty.
