Product Review: Qi Pillow #QVCGifts

I received a camel pillow covered in micro-suede to review.  It is practical and it looks great too.  When it arrived, I gave it 3 puffs of air. That gave me an idea of if it was too much or too little. (It was just a little too little.)  I continued with trial and error until I found the setting that was the best for me in the desk chair I was using.  You may need to adjust it if moving to different chairs.  (As a rule of thumb, the tighter the seat/chair, the lower the inflation, such as in a car seat; and the more spacious the seat/chair, the higher the level of inflation, such as on a couch, sofa or bed.)

I was amazed at how much back pain this pillow relieved.  When sitting in my new desk chair originally, my back pain would flare up.  Once I added the QiPillow to the chair the back pain seemingly disappeared. I would certainly recommend that anyone suffering from back pain give the QiPillow a try. You’ll probably be surprised with the results!

I really like how each of the girls has their own interest that will totally relate to young girls.  Hair, shoes, and if girls are like me – computers.  I actually was surprised Tinker Bell liked computers – now I feel a bond with her when typically she is one of my least favorite characters.  Who knew.  The dolls also have a lot of ability to move, there are joints at the wrists and elbows and knees.  I’m not sure I’ve ever had dolls that did this – but it has been a while since I’ve been playing with any 😉

I also like how there are things to do online beyond just playing with the dolls with the webisodes and books.

SendOutCards enables you to reach out and touch someone with an online service which helps you send personalized, printed greeting cards and gifts through the mail with just a few clicks of your computer.  It is super easy to pick out a card you want to send, submit an address and send it out to any recipient.  I chose to send it to myself so that I could see how long it took to arrive.  (About 3-4 days from when I submitted the order, which was fast!)  The card is great quality and super cute – even if it is a scary monster 😉

I love Scott’s Liquid Gold products and I love these dust ‘n go clothes.  I have a dust mite allergy and usually when I dust using other products, it just shifts everything around and then my allergies act up.  With the clothes, everything sticks to it and then I just toss it and have a clean room and no fit of sneezes.  I also love the almond scent of the clothes! It isn’t overpowering or super gross like some other cleaning product scents, it is just enough to be an enjoyable scent.

I used the clothes on glass tops, wood surfaces, lamps, etc and it worked great on everything I tried it out with and worked equally as well on all the surfaces I tried it on. This is definitely a product I will keep stocked in my home for cleaning.

Product Review: WEXY Snack Bags

WEXY bags are eco-friendly snack bags. They are biodegradable, BPA Free, Recyclable and reusable! They are made in the USA and feature four funky monsters that all kids love! Colorful and fun!

While I don’t have kids that I have to pack lunches for, I sometimes pack snacks for myself. I’m a big kid, so I thought that these WEXY Snack Bags were totally cool.  I also have a sponsored child in Africa.  I’ve been told to package things like they’re going to hit all the elements (rain, mud, etc) so I often pack little trinkets and stickers in snack bags before sending the packages off to try and keep things safe for Amodu while things are in transit.  Then, once he gets the items he will have a cool bag to keep everything in too!  I can not wait to send him off some goodies in these WEXY bags with FUNKY monsters!

They are the perfect size for lunch boxes or in my case, a 6×9 envelope (which is what I am limited to when sending gifts.) Product Review: Teas’ Tea

Teas’ Tea is Iced Tea that is good for you and good for the environment! Their teas naturally have no calories and are unsweetened. (The half&half teas are slightly sweetened and have 50 calories per serving) Once the tea leaves are used in tea production, the leaves are recycled and are used to make useful items such as uniforms for workers and drivers, park benches, vending machines and more! I had no idea that leaves could be recycled to turn in to such useful products, how cool is that?

They also have eco-friendly packaging and use the lightest Ready-To-Drink plastic bottle in the US.  By creating a lighter bottle and a smaller cap, they will weigh only 18.7 grams compared to the other standard plastic bottles that are 24 grams.  These bottles are also recycled and up cycled to make fabric for uniforms.

And of course – the tea is good for YOU, the drinker – green tea has natural occurring antioxidants that have shown a correlation between cancer prevention, weight loss, improved eye site, dental health, cardiovascular health and more!

And best of all – they taste good too! I had the chance to try 3 of the Teas’ Tea Flavors. These were randomly selected for me.  The flavors I tried were – Lemongrass Green Tea and Mint Green Tea from the Unsweetened category and Half & Half Green Tea with Green Apple from the plus category.  I have to say that I think my favorite was the Lemongrass Green Tea, closely followed by the Half & Half with Green Apple.

Product Review: All Yarned Up

One of the big trends lately in nailpolish is the “Fuzzy Coat” by Sally Hansen.  I thought it looked super cute when I saw it online (and oh so close to Mets colors!) so I figured I would check it out.  It is a bit on the expensive side (I think it cost me about $8 but I don’t remember exactly now. D’oh, not like the price isn’t important in a product review!)  The first thing I will say is that a lot of people seem creeped out that it is actually going to be fuzzy.  It’s not. It is basically just like the glitter polishes that are out there but the glitter pieces are rectangular so a bit longer than what you are expecting.  It comes in a clear coat so I put it over my new blue polish from the Sinful Shine line.

It looks super cute. It lasted a long time (although a piece of “yarn” did pop up here and there and poke me which wasn’t really all that pleasant at all) but I will be perfectly honest and say it is beyond a bitch to get off.  I had a feeling it would be because glitter polish is usually nothing short of a pain in the ass, but I feel like this was worse.  It was actually so bad that even though I had 8 of my 10 nails done I actually had to take 2 evenings to remove all the polish because I just could not take it.

So, I will probably not be using the polish again – until I forget how awful it was to take it off.  OR if I do use it, it will be to accent just one or two nails so that the removal process will not be too traumatic.
