This lamp is incredibly easy to use.  Plug it in to a USB port (I tried it on my computer as well as on my USB charging station) and click the button 1 time for 1 light, 2 times for 2 lights and a 3rd time for off.  You can see in my photos I took pictures of it up against the wall plugged into the charging station to try and show how much light you get for 1 2 or off.  Although I took the photos in the daylight, you can also kind of see how much additional light is added to my laptop keyboard.  This lamp is great for traveling – it is small and you can bend the lamp in to all sorts of positions to get the light just where you need it to be.

Zubel Dimples

Lil Dimples are crochet dolls made by Zubel.  They are made by hand and 100% cotton. They are about 4″ tall and great to collect, play with, attach to your backpack, use as a gift tag or anything else your imagination desires! Right now they are offering 10 designs and will be offering another 10 for the holidays.  They are called dimples because they look like the dimples on a golf ball!

I received the mermaid to review.  She has pink hair with a pony tail, a flower on her top and a nice green tail.  She is super cute! She also has a hook on the back of her neck so that I can hang her somewhere if I’d like – or attach her to my purse or backpack as a travel buddy!

The current 10 designs in the line are a Crab, Dog, Bella Ballerina, Bunny, Gnome, Mermaid, Unicorn, T-Rex, Stegosaurus and Triceratops. All of them are super adorable and I am glad that they didn’t ask me which one I’d like to review because I’d have never been able to choose they are all so cute! They retail for $10 each.

Product Review: 50 Guitar Picks in Sturdy Case

Product Review: UTU Cable Organizer

I have a huge problem with not enough USB ports on my computer and I am constantly having to switch them out depending on what I am using at the time. And inevitably, every time I unplug something the cord would fall to the ground. Not anymore! Now that I have the Cable Organizer on my desk, it holds all of the cords for the USB items that are plugged in and those that aren’t. No more needing to track down where they fell on the floor – they are all within my reach on my desk!

Product Review: #1 Pizza Cutter

We eat a lot of pizza in my house and have tried many various pizza cutters over the years.  Most recently we tried out the SH&SH #1 Pizza Cutter.  It is 100% Stainless Steel and sharp for cutting pizza, pie, crust and pastry dough.  It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe – no rust!  The hard rubber handle offers improved control with a comfortable grip, soft grip areas are built into the handle for slip resistance giving excellent grip and balance to help you cut cleanly. It is easy to clean with no effort needed. Wash it with soap and a sponge or toss it in the dishwasher.  It is ergonomically correct, light weight and easy to use when you are pressing down.

We have a split in the house of lefties versus righties and had a split with how much each person liked the cutter.  1 lefty and 1 righty loved it – finding it super easy to use, sharp and allowing for quick clean cuts.  There was no need to want to hold on to the fresh out of the oven pizza stone to get more leverage to get a clean cut on the first try.  The other lefty and righty were not as impressed.  The lefty said it was not made for left handers and the righty said it only worked on the “out” not on the “in” when cutting.  We tried it on pizza and stuffed bread.  Turns out – the two that liked using the cutter are the ones in the family who use it the most – so we’re sticking with their rave reviews!

Product Review: Liquid Chalk Markers by Colore

I have always wanted to try chalking on my scrapbook pages, but was never sure what to use. Then I discovered Liquid Chalk Markers. Included in the set is 8 vivid colored liquid chalk markers in purple,white, blue, yellow, orange, pink, red and green.  They also came with a bonus silicone pen holder – mine was green but it also comes in pink, yellow, blue or orange.

I found the pens easy to use – with 3 steps to get yourself set up.  Push on the tip with the pen in a vertical position.  Shake the pen and then push the pen tip down on the paper to get the liquid chalk flowing.  I found that the chalk dried really fast so there was no need to take time to pause in between projects.  It was a great look on the paper and I am looking forward to using it on more layouts soon.

And a note: these markers work best on non-porous surfaces. Always test it on a small area first to see if it will wipe off.

I have a pair of Red Chucks that I don’t wear all that often and I decided that I should wear them more and they needed some sprucing up.  That’s where We Love Colors came in – they sent me several shoe laces to try out and I decided to free my inner Punky Brewster and just got a little “color crazy”.  The shoes are red – but who says you can’t have 1 yellow lace and 1 green lace?  I also decided to fold down the tops of the shoes too for an added extra “cool” factor.

Product Review: Faburo Adjustable Back Brace

One of my biggest problems lately is my poor posture and as a result, back pain.  My physical therapist has been bugging me to work on my posture, so I was happy to try out the Faburo Ajustable Back Brace to have it help me with remembering to sit up straight when I am sitting at a desk all day. You can wear it throughout the day. Great during long sits behind a desk at work, or a daily jog. It is designed to pull your shoulders back, straightening your posture. As you continue to wear the brace, it will constantly remind you to position your shoulders in the proper form. While helping to fix posture, it also helps relieve many back pain issues. With your back muscles in proper form, spinal pressure may be relieved. Aids in reduced nerve stimulation along your back. The back brace is easily adjustable by shoulder straps. It fits many sizes, 26″-40″ chest size. Recommended: for greater comfort, wear brace over a shirt.

Initially I only put the brace on for a small amount of time, I had to adjust it in various places to make sure it fit me and then I wore it while I was taking photos of all my product reviews since I was sitting at my desk to do it.  The impact that it had on my back in just the first half an hour of so of wear was amazing.  I’m not sure if my posture is where it should be yet, but it has certainly helped relieve a lot of my back pain in just a few small wearings.

The brace did take me a few tries to get it adjusted to my body type. You may need to have some help with this adjustment so you don’t have to keep taking it on and off to make sure it fits as it should. It also took some practice to be able to take it on and off without help at first.
