The Daily Post โ€“ Would You Ratherโ€ฆ

Would you rather be super intelligent or extremely good looking?

I would rather be super intelligent.  I’d get a lot more done in a lot less time if I was super intelligent and I’d also have better odds of inventing my teleporter and time machine… (And maybe a potion to be extremely good looking? haha)

P.S I just won tickets to check out The Alternate Routes at Daniel Street from GEG Presents on facebook so look out for a review of that show next week!

P.S.S. A giveaway is coming either later today or tomorrow.. depending on when I can photograph the prize – if you want a heads up make sure you are following on Google Friend Connect as that will be the mandatory entry ๐Ÿ™‚

The Daily Post โ€“ Dream Vacation

Describe your dream vacation.

My dream vacation is when I take a week off and go to a concert every night! (And a dream vacation would have a 2nd week off right after to recuperate!)  I’ve done this a couple of times – in 2009 going on the rock boat, in 2009 going to Jonas Brothers/Honor Society shows and in 2010 with Hanson’s 5 of 5 (and then some).

Could you live without the internet for a week? For a month?

Definitely not a month. Maybe a week if I had enough fun things going on to keep me occupied.  When I was on The Rock Boat we had no internet and I survived. Although, I suppose if I looked hard enough I could have found it, but there were concerts going on everywhere you turned so I’m not sure why I would have wanted to be on the internet in the first place.  And to make up for the lack of being able to blog while on the boat, I kept a journal and every time we came back to the room I would write in it with what had happened.  If not for that, I am not sure I would have remembered everything by the time I got home!

The Daily Post

Describe the one who got away. It could be a person, a thing, an idea or anything.

I’m going to go with a couple of concerts.  Usually they had my mom’s famous last words – “They’ll come back again”

-O-Town at the Webster Theater – we couldn’t go because we were going to a family reunion.  We got home in plenty of time as I sat at my desk listening to songs from someone who had called me from the show.  It was their last tour. (But hopefully I’ll make up for it on their reunion tour)

-Aaron Carter & Dreamstreet at the Oakdale – Not sure why I couldn’t go to this one, but Dreamstreet disbanded shortly after.  I have seen Jesse McCartney solo a couple of times though.

-2gether at a radio show – Not sure I’ll ever be able to make up for missing this show – someone had even bought me tickets but never ended up giving them to me ๐Ÿ™  I can’t remember if this was before or after Michael has passed away but either way I doubt the remaining 4 will ever do any sort of “reunion”

When teleportation is finally possible, where will you beam yourself first?

(Yes, you can assume you’d be able to teleport yourself back. It’s be a teleportation app for your phone of course, which you’d keep in your pocket)

Hmm. I often talk about inventing a teleporter and a time machine so that I would never miss another concert again, anywhere (and still make it to work on time!)  Although, it would be tough to say where I’d want to go first.  Lately I’ve had an obsession with London, so I suppose I would go there… (I’ve been researching the filming locations of Hanson’s music video “Where’s The Love” for my fansite)  But by the time this teleporter is available for my use, I’ll probably be fascinated with some other location!

The Daily Post

Who is your greatest hero of all time?

Michael Cuccione. I think I might have touched on this in another post, but he went through so much at such a young age, but he never let it stop him and he started up his foundation to help others and just kept on doing what he loved up until the end of his life and I think that it very admirable and it definitely earns him hero status with me.  (Michael played “QT” in 2gether the movie and series on MTV in 2000)

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

Ideally I would love to get paid to go through all of Hanson’s old home videos and get all the set lists to every show they have ever done.  But considering that information would only end up on my website, which I get no income from, I’m not sure how that would work out LOL

Otherwise, I would love to run some sort of online magazine where I could write articles as well as work on the website. I guess this blog is the next best thing and I don’t know that I will ever have the web design skill to make the whole magazine thing a reality, but I’ve wanted to do that for a long time!

The Daily Post

If you had your own reality show, what would it be called? What would it be about? Who would the main characters be?

My own reality show would be following me going to concerts. It would probably be called something like… Concert Katie’s corner.  I’m not sure who the main characters would be but I do know that there would be a recurring character of the dude who gets too damn close to me and devours all my personal space at General Admission shows.  Because this dude shows up in my life far too often… lol

What’s one piece of technology you can’t live without?

My computer! Although, I guess technically it would be my internet connection because my computer without the internet would get boring after a bit. I wouldn’t be able to update anything or find out new things if I couldn’t surf the web!

First concert of the year is tonight!
