The Untitled Jersey City Project is 8 short-form episode fragments of a larger story, with many threads left unresolved. But from the 8 episodes, this much is clear – The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven’t changed one bit. Everyone here has something to gain – money, fame, power. Or they can lose big. Or they could end up dead.
When I first saw that the preview was only 35 seconds long, I thought there was no way that I could end up being interested in this based on just that much of a preview. I was wrong. While I don’t recognize any of the actors (though a lot of them went by quickly) there seems to be a lot of action and storylines going on in this series and enough to keep anyone interested. Don’t be discouraged by the fact that the video is short – if you watch it I am sure that you will be interested in the show too!
