Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Katie Hanes has a facebook app that lets fans of the page personalize and send free virtual “Comfort Packages” to their friends & family. For each package that is sent, Hanes will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (up to $25k) to promote early breast cancer detection and provide mammograms to those in need.
Hanes knows that comfort can come from memories, music and a kind word of encouragement from a friend. The free comfort package can be sent from the Pink tab on the Hanes page. The package is fully customizable with photos, videos, recipes, T-shirt designs, music and messages. Send a comfort package to a friend and brighten their day!
The app is full of adorable (and very pink!) animations and graphics and it guides you through customization of your package. There are a lot of options, so be sure to click around and check them all out! It is a very easy and very fun way to donate $1 to a great cause!
