Recap: Ah, this show… there was supposed to be a snow storm starting the next morning, so we were going to sleep over in a hotel for a little bit and then head out to beat the snow.  Except that when we left the venue, it had already started! So we left right away, stopping to nap here and there once we got ahead of the snow on the highway.  Probably one of the crazier things I have done for Hanson.  It ended up being the only time I have heard them sing “Joy To The World” (The 3 Dog Night song, not the Christmas carol) as of yet!

And this concludes Hanson month on Throwback Thursday.  This show was in Hartford.  No photos from the show, but we did wait by the bus after the show and my friends got autographs. They teased they were “hailing a cab” because they had to hold it up over their head and hope that one of the guys grabbed it to sign it.  I also got a picture with Kai from Locklsey after this show.

We went in to this show late and I managed to get all 3 guys to wave to me from waiting by the bus.  We left the show early too to snag a spot by the bus.  Isaac ended up signing my wristband and I got my first photo with Taylor! I don’t remember too much about the specifics of this show, but the guard who was out by the bus was super awesome.

This show was at a venue that is typically “in the round” but Hanson sold only half house so they wouldn’t have to spin.  I remember we showed up late because it was seated and one of the Locksley guys came by and said hello to me in the lobby and my friends were all “who was that!?” and I was like “oh just the guy from the opening act”, I guess since it was my 3rd show and I was front row the previous 2 he recognized me! (And it ended up becoming a bit of teasing when we heard rumors that this particular opening act member was hooking up with Hanson fans after each show!)  After the show we waited by the bus, I got a photo with Isaac. Marisa managed to get all 3 guys to write out a bit of lyrics because she was considering a tattoo.  I think Isaac ended up saying he couldn’t because of copyright infringement or some nonsense – which was “funny” because Zac and Taylor had already written it out for her without any issue.

Back to Back front row shows! Probably one of the only times that will ever happen for me.  This time we were on the other side of the stage which was nice, since you can’t really see Zac when you are on Taylor’s side!  After this show, I got a drumstick! Our goal was met!  I don’t remember too much specifically from this show, but I think it was the one where Erin and I got split when Locksley was breaking down the crowd so we were dramatically “fighting” with each other and they got a kick out of that.

Recap:

For the show in Baltimore we first did The Walk which was a 1 mile walk before the show with Hanson to help raise awareness and raise money for Africa.  My friend Erin was nice enough to push me in a wheelchair since there was no way I could keep up for the walk on foot so I could experience it.  For the show we were in the front row.  This is the show where Taylor fell off the stage during The Ugly Truth.  After the show, Erin got one of Zac’s drumsticks. (That was our goal for the weekend – for us each to get one.)
