Product Review: Car Wash Mitt

Recently I received some car wash mitts to try out. My Dad ended up taking them over and washed his car with them first. He really liked them.  They fit on his hands comfortable and the different colors had different feels to them. The orange could be used to scrub the dead bugs off the car and then flipped around to wash it better. The blue was softer and he used that one for drying the car afterwards. And they just look fun. Like muppets on your hands when washing!

The mitts are scratch-free, lint-free and swirl-free. They have an elastic wrist band that allows you to wear the glove comfortable and use conveniently. There are 2 distinct cleaning surfaces: chenille (coral-like corduroy) and microfiber. They absorb higher amounts of water than sheepskin mitts and remove wax dust. When rinsed, the mitts easily release dirt.

They can also be used for dusting and are safe to clean all surfaces including PDS, LCD screens and auto dashes.

Product Review: OZ Naturals Sunscreen

If you’ve followed this blog, you probably know I struggle with getting sun burned all. the. time. So I am always looking for new sunscreen to try out.  Most recently I tried Oz Naturals Anti-Aging Sun Shield SPF 30.

The sunscreen goes on smooth and while initially I thought it might be greasy after it was applied, it was not at all once it was all rubbed in. It almost made my arms feel dry! There was also some white residue left over on my arms but I think that was because I squeezed way too much out of the bottle! Way more than what I actually needed to cover my arms.  The sunscreen also has little to no scent which is great because a lot of times you end up smelling like a coconut or just something gross.

Product Review: Liquid Chalk Markers

Kitchen Surpreme’s new chalk markers bundle with chalkboard labels is a fun way to help get organized!  I’ve had scrapbook paper sorted out for quite some time but have now been able to label all my colors with labels and not only that – the color of the chalk on the label matches the color of the paper!  In addition to using the markers to label my scrapbook papers, I also used the black chalk to create a graffiti-like background paper for a scrapbook page I will be putting together very soon.  I love the look of it and that I can customize things however I want with the 10 colors included in the bundle as well as the 2 tips that I can use depending on if I am writing or if I just want to create accents with the chalk.  These are a great addition to my scrapbook area and I can’t wait to use them on more projects. Even if you are not a scrapbooker, you can use these markers to label items in your bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere else you may need some help organizing.  To use the markers just shake them, press down until the chalk starts coming to the tip and start writing! The tip pulls out and has 2 types of tips that you can flip around quite easily to find the right one to suit your needs.

Product Review: Shredded Memory Foam Pillow

Recently I’ve been sleeping on what could considered a cloud. Ok, well it’s actually a Shredded Memory Foam Pillow – but close enough.  I just love how it cradles my head and is so comfortable to fall asleep on!  The problem with man pillows is that you shape it to give good support – but it ends up collapsing on you and you lose the support which causes stress on your body and you can wake up tossing and turning or trying to flip the pillow the cool side.

The pillow is pretty big and a bit on the heavy side, but I have tossed my old pillow to the side and have been loving using this pillow.  I used to wake up all the time hot from my pillow and have to move my head or flip the pillow over to the cool side.  Even with temperatures getting hotter, I have not had that problem since using this pillow for the past couple of weeks.  I’ve also found that I have less pain and stress from sleeping and hope that with continued use of this pillow this will continue as I am much happier!
