Are You My Dad? Is the story of a penguin who hatches out of her egg but then doesn’t know where her Dad is, so she goes off to find him! Every animal she sees along the way she asks, “Are you my Dad?” All of the animals tell them how they are similar to her Dad, but not her Dad. Finally, she is reunited with her Dad and all is well.
A really cute book, similar to “Are you my Mother?” which I read a lot as a kid!

She learns interesting facts and clues about her father- that he is a bird who cannot fly, that he lives on land and swims in the sea, that he is tall but much smaller than the animals she encounters. Feeling very forlorn when she realizes none of her new friends are her dad, she suddenly spies something strange climbing out of the sea. He shares many of the characteristics of her lost father, but is this truly him?! Is her quest finally over?
