I am thinking there’s got to be something… or multiple somethings, but I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

Do you have a nickname or have you been called something other than your given name?

Katie is a nickname… Concert Katie is a nickname… and then my mom has various names for me if I am being good or bad lol

5. WE WORK THE BLACK SEAM: One day in a nuclear age they may understand our rage. They build machines that they can’t control and bury the waste in a great big hole…
What do you do that is considered “Green”?

I try to avoid printing excess things if I can help it, I re-use my desk calendars as scrap paper to make my to-do lists on… I try to use reusable shopping bags. In the grand scheme of things – probably not ENOUGH… but at least I try and do something.

6. MOON OVER BOURBON STREET: It was many years ago that I became what I am, I was trapped in this life like an innocent lamb…
What was the worst job you ever had?

I used to be a cashier at Toys R Us, while I am not sure if it was the worst ever… it did have times that it was just awful. However… best birth control ever!

What is the worst thing about sleeping with someone else in a bed?

I tend to flop around a lot in my sleep – I’ll wake up twisted in my sheets and I honestly don’t know what the heck I do to end up that way.  When I share a bed I try extra hard to not move so I am rarely comfortable and rarely get a decent nights sleep.

8. FORTRESS AROUND YOUR HEART: And if I built this fortress around your heart,Encircled you in trenches and barbed wire, then let me build a bridge, for I cannot fill the chasm…
What object or piece of furniture have you built?

My desk, my printer table my scrapbook table… I love Ikea.

Not usually.

What is a funny memory of a parent, sibling or guardian in your childhood home?

Once my brother drew a triangle on the wall outside of his bedroom and told me “This is a sign. It means no girls allowed”  It stayed on the wall until it got painted again. I kind of wish that my dad didn’t paint over it because it was just so funny.

2. MEN WITHOUT HATS: SAFETY DANCE … “We can dance if we want to, we’ve got all your life and mine…as long as we abuse it, never gonna lose it, everything will work out right”…
What activity did you do that would be considered dangerous or reckless?

Nothing that I can think of.

What was your dream job and what did you actually wind up doing?

My dream job is to run an online magazine. Which, this blog, kind of is. Just… less structured lol my paying job is as a software engineer.

Never been on a romantic getaway.

My brothers bought me a space pen… I lost it within like a week.  It wasn’t all that valuable but I usually don’t lose things so 5 years later I’m still kind of annoyed that I lost it!

Were you spanked as a child? How were you punished?

Yes. Spanked and/or sent to my room. I remember screaming “CAN I COME DOWN NOWWWWWWWWW” from my room… or if I was feeling brave, the top of the stairs.

What is the oddest thing you ever did to get someone to like you?

I can’t recall, though I am sure there was probably many things.

Who do you regret giving your phone number to?

There was this one kid a few years back… he did eventually stop calling without me needing to change my number though so I guess that was ok.

What is your favorite medicine or drug?

uhhh.  I used to like the taste of dimetapp as a kid – but they changed the formula.  But not to the point that I’d take it if i wasn’t sick. I’m also a fan of Nyquil’s powers to knock me out when I’m feeling icky.

What was /is your favorite car?

VW Jetta. But I hear they have lots of issues so I own a Toyota Rav 4.

What is the worst lie or rumor anyone ever told about you?

Oh man. Let’s just.. not even get in to that. I don’t want to think about it – there are many but remembering brings me back to a bad place.

What food do you crave so much you would brave a long line or travel a far distance to get it?

I love the dipping sauce of the sweet potato fries at Bobby’s Burger Palace at the casino.  I’ve never gone JUST for the fries, but I do tend to make it a habit to stop there when I go. (Though I havent stopped the last couple times because I overdid it the time before lol)

What was the last song you paid to hear on a jukebox?

Whenever I see a Hanson song on a jukebox I have to play it. Although the last time I saw a jukebox was probably several years ago.  I’d love to get a jukebox when I have my own place that I can load all (or most) of my CDs in… or even somehow hook my iTunes up to it.  That would be cool!

I don’t dance. Not a chance.

I’m not big on the creepy, so I can’t say I have a favorite monster or anything creepy.  Unless you count Grover from Sesame Street.  He’s a monster and I love him.

These tornadoes that have been going on lately are pretty bad environmental tragedies.  And scary too!

Never had a dog, not really a dog fan… but if I had to get a dog I kind of would like a jack russell terrier.  But this changes often.

After watching “Wag The Dog” several times in Journalism classes, I tend to question almost everything and its timing.

2. RADIO FREE EUROPE “Radio Free Europe, radio free europe, calling out…”
Have you ever used a shortwave radio or listened to another country’s radio broadcast?
No I have not. But I have listened to recordings of Hanson interviews from Australia. If that counts lol 

What would you eat if you knew it was the end of the world soon?

Have you ever said something to someone that was negative about a religion only to find that person was of the faith you were speaking about?
I try not to speak out about religion unless I’m at home.

Have you ever gone skinny dipping at night, or night swimming in a lake, pond, river, beach, pool?
Nope

Is there a song you hear that reminds you of someone in your past every time you hear it?
Absolutely. Several songs, different people.  Also a lot of times if I hear a song it takes me back to the first time I heard it

What was the last childhood game you played as an adult?
I’m not sure.

What is wrong right now?
There is not enough room on this blog for what is wrong! But I’ll be a bit happier if I can knock out some more of my massive to-do list for this weekend.

Where will you never go back to?
I don’t know that there is anywhere I will NEVER go back to… 

What is your favorite fruit flavor and your favorite way to have it?
My favorite fruit is cantaloupe. 

What was the last call you were waiting for?
From a job!

What was the last thing you did that took hours and hours to finish?
Almost everything I do takes hours and hours to finish because I get bored and move on to something else!

What was the last thing you said about the weather and the government?
I think the last thing weather related I said was whining about it being cold.  I’m not sure what I last said about the government though. Might have been going off on one of my rants of things I would do if i was president – like get rid of curbs. Or making the work week shorter.

Abolish curbs. Make railings required for all stairs… and give people more mandatory vacation days from work!

Yes… sometimes I am just not in the mood to deal with anyone.

My mind is completely blank and I can’t think of any song I can even relate to right now! lol 

When was the last time you took back something worth rememberin?
I don’t know.

Wind? Solar? Water?

The south

What good advice did you ignore and then later regret?
Nothing that I can think of off hand.

No. Poetry in school was one of the things I dreaded because anything I wrote came out ridiculous!

What is your earliest memory as a child/baby?
Being in my crib and angry that I was in there. My mom is convinced I made this up… but I can describe the room and everything is accurate so…

New York City, I guess

I feel like I am lied to a lot, but I might just be paranoid.  Years of being bullied have really messed with me so I have major trust issues

How do you feel about Kings and Queens of a country like Great Britain?
I don’t really.. “get” it, I guess. But if that works for them, then more power to them.

I have had to write poems for school and it was then that I realized, I can not write poems at all… so no I will not be sharing any of my “poetry” haha
