I have had some friends tell me about the new game punderdome and how they wanted to try it out. So I decided to give it a try. I am not “punny” and usually any puns I made were not intended because that is just not how I think. The punderdome game has 200 cards included which prompt you for two items that you must make a pun out of. This game works best in large groups, as one person judges all the puns written down and the winner of that round becomes the judge for the next, and so on. I like this rule because if you have one friend who is really good at making terrible puns, they can only win every other round which gave me a chance to maybe win sometimes as well. The game also has the option for prizes. There are two envelopes and the prizes can be decided on by the host and the winner can choose an envelope – one can be a fun prize and one a booby prize to make things a little bit more fun! I found that I was getting better with my puns the more I played, so I think with more practice perhaps I might be just a little bit punny.
