thankyoulordThank you Lord, For everything is a sweet board book for children.  Perfect for bedtime and leading into prayers before bed! The bear that is the main character is super adorable and the whole book is a sweet rhyme reminding you to thank the lord for everything throughout the day.

About the Book

A new padded board book with cheerful and upbeat rhymes that teaches children to be thankful.

A comfortable and relaxing rhyme tells the story of God’s great blessings in this padded cover board book. P.J. Lyons’ engaging text and Tim Warnes’ playful illustrations remind readers how much they have to be thankful for.

Love surrounds you, beauty, too. Notice how God blesses you! Clap your hands, shout and sing: Thank you, Lord, for everything.

Thank You, Lord, For Everything, is a sweet and gentle rhyme-perfect for bedtime, quiet time, and anytime in between.

New motto.

Today’s post was supposed to be review for The Good Groupie’s Rock Novel Reading club.  The book was actually supposed to be read and discussed back in June, but with nothing showing up on her site about it, I kept putting off actually finishing it.  I started it on a road trip in June and couldn’t get into it.  I tried to continue it on another road trip (which may have been the problem in the first place) and still couldn’t get hooked.

So I never finished it.

I don’t want to write a review based on what I did read because I hardly retained any of it.  And my new motto with the blog is… If I get to it, I get to it. If I don’t, I don’t.  I’m not trying to force myself to write posts any more or force myself to finish books that I just can’t get into.

I make no money off this blog and really all I need to answer to is myself .  So if it is not fun for me, why push it?  Then I’ll just burn myself out.  My “real job” is taking up much more of my time as of late and I’m working on a lot of other projects as well. Reading is on the back burner and most weekends listening to music for music monday is too.  For anyone who follows the blog regularly, expect more missed posts through the end of the year.

I certainly see less structure for myself in 2016 and no more forced daily features and posts.
