I recently had the chance to try out MaskIT which is a specially designed product that offers a practical and sanitary solution for the disposal of soiled feminine hygiene products.  These are great if you are on the go – whether it be at a friends house or in public where the toilet doesn’t have one of those special little trash cans inside of it.  MaskIT offers an intuitive use for women through its pocket technology which makes it super easy to grab a used pad or tampon while protecting the hand.  With a unique inversion process, these items are then closed in and sealed off in a small pouch that prevents leaking and blocks smells.

It did take me a couple of tries to figure out how to best use these products – but once I got the hang of it, I was quite impressed.  All the used products are closed right up in to the pouch so that you can discretely dispose of them and anyone else who may use the bathroom after you won’t know all of your business! MaskIT is proud to provide a product that is made out of a certified compostable Biofilm and is 100% made in the USA.  MaskIT officially launched on September 15th and is now available on Amazon and through select retailers across the country.

(For demonstration purposes I used a balled up tissue and not a used feminine hygiene product. I think you can all use your imagination to see how the tissue could be replaced with a tampon or a pad.  MaskIT comes in two sizes – a smaller one for tampons (the one I used for the demonstration) and a larger one for pads.)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
