Did you know? There have been label changes made to sunscreen – you can now tell whether a sunscreen can help prevent skin cancer, premature skin aging, and sunburn – or just sunburn. If you want the former, be sure to look for a label that says "broad spectrum" this means that it can protect your skin from both types of harmful UV rays – the UVA rays and the UVB rays. Be sure to look for SPF of 30 or higher. Also be sure to look for sunscreen thta is "water resistant" this means that it will stay on your skin for a while even if you get wet. This doesn't mean that you don't have to reapply it – be sure to look at the labels to see how long your skin can be wet before you need to reapply it. Keep in mind there is no such thing as "waterproof" sunscreen, only "water resistant". I am constantly getting sun burned, so I will take these tips into consideration when I am picking out wihch sunscreen to purchase before my next trip!
