I have been trying out the FREE trial of VIPRE Internet Security for the past few days. I like that in addition to virus protection, it also helps protect against spam and websites that might not be where I want to be that might infect my computer. Most other programs fix the problem once you’ve gotten it, VIPRE Internet Securty tries to stop it before you even get it, which is definitely a big plus.
Downloading and installing it is a breeze. Just go to the website and give your email address to get your link to download it, while you are downloading, you will be presented with some “Did You Know?” about the product so you can help educate yourself and not just sit there bored waiting for the green line to fill up meaning that the download is complete. My download took less than 3 minutes and then I was asked to restart. Once I restarted I was all set and ready to be protected! (Just a note – it will ask you to remove any other virus scans you may have on your computer as it will not work as well with the other programs running as well. I chose to remove the 2 programs that it asked me to remove.)
So far I have no problems to report and I have a lot better piece of mind searching the web knowing that VIPRE Internet Security has my back!
