Could it be? Finally the final battle rounds of The Voice!? Hooray!  (Although unfortunately I’m going to miss next week live because I’ll be hanging out at a Tyler Hilton concert… but I’ll catch up when I get home and get a recap posted, don’t you worry!)

The promos on the news said that CeeLo cried. I teased and said “what did he have to pick between two pretty girls?”  But in the intro to the show we see that his 2 remaining battles are all guys.  That’ll show me to tease CeeLo for loving the ladies 😉

  1. Although I like Tony and I felt that he performed really well, I was leaning towards Justin. I like his voice more.

I agree with Blake in choosing Naia but I also think she had an advantage with the song choice. Jordan could have stepped up and blew us all away but he didn’t and I think that’s why Naia seemed like the better choice. It was more natural for her.

I definitely felt like Orlando did a better job. I love his blues-y voice and I think he was the better performer.

Wow, what can I say about The Line and Moses. Very interesting combination and performance. I really liked it. I have to agree with Moses though because I felt like he did a better job. He just needs to prove himself a little more with singing. I’m actually interested in what The Line had to say after the performance. The girl seemed really pissed off but that may have been a cover for her not trying to cry. Who knows?

I think Nicole has what it takes, she just needs to work on herself more and not use the piano as a crutch. Mathai is definitely the better, more natural performer.

I also think Wade has what it takes, he just needs to work a little more. James seems to have honed his skills more.

I can’t wait for the live rounds!

  3. I thought that Cee-Lo’s crying would be due to trying to impress one of the girls on his team, and then I felt bad afterwards when I found out that I was soooo wrong. It seems that Cee-Lo really has a connection with music and that a song can be an emotional experience for him… a true artist! This season has been odd for me because I started working late nights in one of DISH’s call centers, so I don’t get to see the show as it airs. Several of my friends will leak information to me (like Cee-Lo crying) and then I create an opinion of the episode before I even see it! I also heard that the wedding singers would be battling the rapper and until I was able to watch the final battle rounds free on DISHonline.com, I thought that there was no way this would be a good performance. I was wrong, but I’d like to see The Line as separate entities because when they both sang separately they each were phenomenal! Moses really stepped it up for this performance and I was shocked that he could sing. If I were Xtina, I would have chosen The Line and then cut them into two!
