Wednesday night the Top 10 sang the songs of Billy Joel – with mentoring from P Diddy. Seemed like an odd match up to me…
DeAndre – Only the Good Die Young – I think this is my favorite performance from him thus far!
Erika – New York State of Mind – WOW! Her new hair! I also love this song. They play it after all the Mets games so it brings back memories of Shea Stadium <3 I love her, so I thought it was a great performance!
Joshua – She’s Got a Way – He is so good. He did amazing for never having heard the song before! But how the heck does no one know this song?
Skylar – Shameless – Too country for me but she’s good otherwise.
Elise – Vienna – I’m not sure she is going to make it very far in this competition. She is good, but there is just something about her… I can’t really enjoy her anymore. The judges seem to disagree with me though *shrugs*
Philip – Movin’ Out – There were some parts of the version I didn’t like (lack of attack-ack-ack-ack) but other than that it was good.
Hollie – Honesty – I thought Hollie did well with the song, perhaps she could have done better but it was by no means awful.
Heejun – Its My Life – GO. HOME. Go. Home. GO. HOME. (And this isn’t even because he said “I don’t want you to tell me it’s time to go home” in the song….)
Jessica – Everybody Has A Dream – She seemed a bit shouty here. I don’t think that this was her best performance and I didn’t really like it, but I don’t think that it will put her in the bottom at all.
Colton – Piano Man – He did those hiccups again. I still don’t like him.
Bottom 3: Elise, HeeJun, Erika
Going Home: Hee Jun. (please!?!?!?)

Well, my bottom 3 was 2 out of 3… But unfortunately – ANOTHER of my favorites leaves. I’m not sure how much longer I can watch the show if Heejun is still on. Really.
